My experience working with clients made me realise that many needed more support, on a psychological level, in order to make their dietary and/or lifestyle changes sustainable. This sparked my interest in becoming a qualified counsellor so that I could offer this alongside nutritional therapy.
In 2020 I began a Foundation Certificate in Counselling and followed this up with a two-year Diploma in Integrative Counselling at The Awareness Centre, Clapham. I graduated in 2022.

About me
I have always been interested in the human body and how it functions, and over the years have tried various complementary therapies to support my body and mind to be the best they can be, with many ups and downs along the way.
In 2004 I trained as a yoga teacher with the Sivananda Yoga Vedanta Centre and taught yoga in one-to-one and small group classes. I have completed a course in Transcendental Meditation with the Meditation Trust and regularly practice mindfulness and make use of guided meditation apps.
It was having my first child in 2005 that got me really interested in nutrition as I realised what an important part it is of a mum’s toolkit in how best to nurture and support the development of a child. In 2012 I started to study nutritional therapy on a professionally accredited four-year course at the renowned Institute for Optimum Nutrition, a market leader in nutritional therapy. I graduated in 2016 and began working with clients on a one-to-one basis. From July 2016 to March 2019 I worked with Zest4Life to integrate health coaching skills with my nutritional therapy.
